25 FEB Fort Bragg

this Friday, we'll meet at 10 am at the park by the library on post.go in the Randolph gate (if you don't have a military ID/ decal, go in the right lane- you'll have to show your driver's license & and car registration and they'll search your car but it's quick) right after you pass Knox Street you'll see the park on your left beside the library.
I've been trying to reschedule an appointment but could not so I'm not going to be able to go to the park tomorrow. I'm praying for a nice day out and for everyone to enjoy their day.

Don't forget to RSVP For childcare tomorrow if you haven't already & RSVP for the Fascinate-U class by Monday.
Please bring bags or some type of container for you to take home the items you find for you at the swap.
Thanks!
Next Friday 4 March we'll be at Fascinate-U at 10 am. I set up a class for K-2nd graders (that's the target age- a little older or younger is welcome too.) Museum admission is $3 per child, $2 per adult. If you'd like to do the class, please email me by Monday. I need to give them a total & I have to pay for the group together. The class is $4 per child- which includes museum admission.) Hope to see you.

The clothing swap is next week! a couple last tips
-please bring your items sorted by type
-bring exact change for childcare
-don't forget to RSVP for childcare by Friday to Christy
-come ready to bless others & be blessed!

Summer Camp

I wanted to share info about a WONDERFUL summer camp. My family went 2 years ago when James got home from his a deployment. I highly recommend- absolutely beautiful place, great food, great mix of time for couples while kids having fun and well cared for & family time.
Here's the link:

Any service man or woman, including those in the Reserve and National Guard, returning home from deployment in support of OIF or OEF can come to Sandy Cove with their immediate family for FREE! This includes comfortable accommodations in the Chesapeake Lodge or Pioneer Campground cabins, all meals, recreation and program if scheduled. 5-nights for a family of four would normally cost up to $2900, but through generous donations, Sandy Cove is able to offer this as a FREE gift to military families to help you bond together and relax in a Christian atmosphere. One FREE visit per family.

This Friday 24 SEP at 10 am we'll be at Mazarick Park(1638 Belvedere Ave off of Bragg Blvd). This is a Fantastic Friday- Big kids are always welcome but we're especially encouraging them to come out for our Fantastic Fridays. I'm still working out the details but we should have some extra fun for the bigger kids like tennis, cards, kickball, frisbee golf.

Clothing Swap 2 March

we do have the date set for the clothing swap. Wednesday 2 March from 9:15-11:30 in the Manna Youth Building. This is a wonderful opportunity to pass along your outgrown, no longer needed items & find some of items you need too- all for free. Well, the only cost is a little of your time- we need everyone to pitch in and help with set up and clean up. We get a lot done in a short amount time by everyone working together. Mark your calendars and start setting your clothes, toys, books aside for March 2nd.

Please pray about if you can help with one of these "jobs" for the swap. none of these are hard. I would like to have ladies "in charge" of sections wear red shirts so it's easy for people to know who to ask if they have a question.
-Coordinate childcare-
–Welcome table
–Boys’ clothes- you won't lay out everything by yourself, just help point ladies to right tables within your area, and adjust tables as you need
–Girls’ clothes
–Maternity
-Books
Toys
Shoes
Misc.
