So who's up for running a half marathon in September? Here's a great chance to train together with some other great ladies and do a great run- mostly flat, by the beach, bands every half mile. This coming Saturday 5 June is the Airborne Special Ops Museum 5K/10K- a great chance to set a goal time for the half marathon. Come out and run!

Wonderful Wednesday

This Friday we won't meet bc of Memorial Day weekend but my boys & I are headed to Lake Rim Park Wed at 10 for the ABC Scavenger hunt, picnic, & to play in the park. anyone want to meet us there?

Aloha Zoo was great Friday! We really loved the trailer ride & it was great seeing all the animals so close. Petting the baby llamas was pretty fun too. Anyone want to set that up for another day? just call 919-770-7109

My Manna Connection Night

Sunday 23 May is My Manna Connection Night. This is a great opportunity to learn about the many small groups meeting this summer. You don't have to be a Manna member to attend. Just come out to Manna at 5117 Cliffdale tomorrow night and check out all the small groups. Finger foods, drinks, and childcare (through age 11) will be provided throughout the duration of the event. Childcare begins at 6:00pm and ends at 9:00pm.

14 May Honeycutt Park

we'll meet next Friday 14 May at 10 am at Honeycutt Park (352 Devers Street) .Honeycutt Park is close to the YMCA and FTCC off Fort Bragg Road on Devers Street. iif you're going south on Bragg Blvd, veer right onto Fort Bragg Road and then take the 3rd right onto Devers Street. you'll see the park on the left beside Kiwani's recreation center.

30 Apr Lake Rim Park

Sorry if we missed anyone this morning at Pope. We were surprised to find no parking at the park bc of a graduation. I texted all the phone numbers I have to let everyone know we were headed to the park beside the shoppete. I'm going to make a Fun Fridays text group on my phone, if you want to be on that list for last minute changes, please email me jaklew@aol.com. (I will only add you to the list if you send me your number.) or you can always call my cell. If you don't have that number, email me and I'll send it to you.

Next week 30 Apr we'll head to the south side of town- Lake Rim Park (2214 Tar Kiln Drive off Raeford Road.) we'll meet at 10 am at the park beside the information center. GRACE homeschool group is doing their field day that day. The field day is only for GRACE members who have registered. But there will be several GRACE moms & kids in the playground with us so it will be a great opportunity for those of you considering homeschooling to meet some of the great GRACE moms.

I sent out evites about our 7 May get together & and 21 May Aloha Safari Zoo. If you did not get an evite, please let me know. If you did, please RSVP. We have a lot of people on our email list and it's very hard to plan when people don't RSVP. Thanks!
